About Us
Originated in 1968 by Philip Mazzuco in Brentwood, New York, under the name Linus Alarm Corporation, we rapidly grew to be one of the largest electronic security companies on Long Island. By 1985, Linus Alarm Corporation relocated to Spring Hill, Florida. Philip handed over operation to his son Michael Mazzuco.
Over the years working in New Home Construction, we saw the changes of technology moving quickly. This is when Linus Alarm Corporation decided it was time for a change and advancement. We begin wiring homes for data and multi-room audio.
Once we got involved with audio, we soon found out about the demands for video as well as with customers look for theater-like environment in their home. We joined CEDIA (Custom Electronic Design Industry Associate) and got the proper education and training. This helped us over the hurdle of outing our company.
We then studied and tested several components before we selected which would carry. These studies were not only for the product, but also for the ease or use to the end user, our satisfied customer. We name the company Wow Home Theater because it is the expression for our customers and when Wow Theater is there, work is done.
